Biography
As a partner with Johnston, Stannard, Klesner, Burbidge & Fitzgerald, PLC in Iowa City, IA, Shawn provides legal services for criminal defense, business law, and estate planning. Shawn received his law degree from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law https://law.uic.edu/ in 2005. Shawn received his bachelor of science degree in psychology from the University of Iowa in 2002.
Prior to joining Johnston, Stannard, Klesner, Burbidge & Fitzgerald, PLC, Shawn practiced with the law firm of David Goldstein and Associates, LLC in Chicago, IL. While attending John Marshall Law School, Shawn clerked for the law firm of Daley and George, Ltd.
Shawn has extensive experience representing clients with felony and misdemeanor criminal charges throughout eastern Iowa. Located in Iowa City, Shawn has experience representing college students facing criminal charges and school suspensions.
